"For the second time, Eduard took part in the main Brazilian model show hosted by IPMS Rio. This year, the theme of the show was squarely aimed at the American air force. For this event, Eduard sponsored several awards including our traditional Eduard Trophy.

2011 will focus on the Italian air force. We are looking forward to seeing what will be brought to South America. In any case, we wish the organizers of the event a lot of luck and success for the coming year. (JZ)"

Model Show - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, april 25th - 26th

In its second year the IPMS-RIO annual convention took place in the Tijuca Tennis Club. Due to the great success of the last convention we opted for a larger venue, which allowed more space to the 125 modellers, with almost 600 models, that attended the show. This year we made some changes, and we had one theme for the whole convention, including all categories.
Japan was this year's theme and we are very happy to see how well received it was. Many very well made models were shown, models we normally seldom see in regular conventions. We were visited by modellers from many parts of the country, including some visitors who travelled more than 1300 miles! Many thanks to everyone who came, and to all those who exhibited.
We are grateful to Eduard, Lucky Models, Hannants, Hobbyeasy, Hobbylink Japan, Hobbyterra, among others, who sponsored the event and enabled us to raffle more than seventy prizes, including some for junior modellers. Next year's theme will be USA, see you there.
